Hong Kong in China as a travel destination is very popular. While this city is a part of China, it is autonomous for the most part. All the beauty of the Occident is here and there are many different ways to experience Hong Kong. Getting to Hong Kong is easy via air. Entry into Hong Kong is usually via Hong Kong International Airport. However there are two other airports that service Hong Kong and those are Macau International Airport and Shenzhen International Airport. When in Hong Kong, you can get around via car, tram, bus, bicycle, train and boat. There is plenty to see and to do in Hong Kong. If you love amusement parks, there are several here such as Ocean Park, Ngong Ping 360 and Disneyland. Many different festivals can be found such as the Chinese New Year, Hungry Ghost Festival, Spring Lantern Festival and Moon Festival just to name a few.

If you love beaches, you will love Hong Kong's beaches such as the Hung Shing Yeh Beach, Repulse Bay, Big Wave Bay and Shek O. Those that love shopping will enjoy the many different shopping centers that are available here. If you love antiques try Star House. For books, Swindon Books, Cameras can be found in Mong Kok Computer Center. For fashions Tsim Sha Tsui is a popular destination. Music and movies can be found at HMV. Shopping malls include Cityplaza, IFC Mall and Pacific Place just to name a few.

Looking for a place to sleep? Try the Harbour Plaza, Rambler Garden Hotel, Headland Hotel or Butterfly on Wellington for some examples. If you want to see areas outside of Hong Kong, try Shenzhen or Macau for example. Macau is the biggest gambling haven and Shenzhen is a boomtown in Mainland China. So you have plenty to see and to do here. You may find that Hong Kong stays with you long after you have traveled to this region.
